The Luminary Project: Nurses Lighting the Way to Environmental Health

The Luminary Project is a Web-based effort to capture the illuminating stories of nurses’ activities to improve human health by improving the health of the environment. Please visit the Luminary Project Web site to read these nursing stories and explore the resources pages.

The Center for American Nurse proudly announces that it has become a Beacon for the project. By doing so the Center hopes to raise awareness about nurse Luminaries and encourage nurses in every practice setting to share their environmental health efforts by submitting stories to the Web site.

The Luminary Project is sponsored by Healthcare Without Harm, the campaign for environmentally responsible health care.
